Just a quick update on the Winless and Undefeated teams in College Football.
THE WINLESS
Winless Teams:
- UCLA 0-3
- @Northwestern
- Sam Houston 0-4
- @New Mexico St
- UMass 0-3
- @Missouri
- Miami (OH) 0-3
- vs Lindenwood
- Oregon St 0-4
- vs Houston
Chuck Martin gets the Redhawks in the win column this week. That was a horrific game to lose this past Saturday against UNLV. It felt certain that the Redhawks would close out the visiting Running Rebels. No matter, Lindenwood will be their first win.
Outside of that–I don’t love anyone else’s chances. Poor UCLA. I’ll offer them the same as I did Virginia Tech, $1/ Month with expenses for one season. I’d love to help the Bruins rebuild. Northwestern should win that game 15-12.

This list will also naturally dwindle each week, but unlike the Winless list, the longer you stay on this one, you have a sweet reward–playoff hopes. Not saying a team has to go undefeated to make the playoffs, but if one team does such a thing, it does pretty much guarantee it.
There are plenty of testy matchups for our remaining 28 undefeated teams this weekend. I’m guessing we lose at least seven before next week’s update.
I’m still guessing that by the end, there will not be any team on either list. Maybe UCLA keeps the Winless list alive. They are that bad.
