Last week I wrote that the positivity was high and that the cold air and snow in the forecast had me excited. Little did I know that the cold air would also cast a cold spell on my picks. I’ve worked hard to find an excuse for going 1-5 last week, and I’m going with the incoming early winter weather distracted me and caused me to pick the wrong side in most of my games. There is no time for sulking in the corner and cry over spilled milk and that abysmal week. It’s time for a bounce back in a big way. Some of my best weeks have come off one of my worst. Not to mention, the forecast for this weekend is warming up to 55 and the sun is supposed to be out, and I am going to take this as a sign that my picks are due to also heat up this week.
Let’s have a positive vibe weekend. Not just with the football picks, but in every aspect of life. Control what can be controlled, turn off anything that sparks negativity, show kindness to a stranger, and be loving to others are all action steps for me this weekend.
