This is the best College Football Schedule of the season so far. I see eleven ‘can’t miss’ games. Nearly every top 10 team in the rankings has a true test and that is needed.

Jeremiah Smith vs Demond Williams in Seattle, Jordan Maiva vs Bielema in Champaign, Jeremiah Love vs another SEC defense, Gunner Stockton in yet another tough early season matchup, Joey Aguilar getting a chance to show out in Starkville…the list goes on.

It’s still early. Even if the one of these teams loses their Week 5 game, it is exactly that–Week 5. There will be plenty of time to recover by playoff time.

If there was ever a time for a college football fan to become one with the channel changer, it’s this Saturday.

USC, Washington, and Penn St game will have my full attention, but I’ll keep a close eye on all of the games that are being played at the same time during the commercials. This Saturday will reveal the strengths and weaknesses of each top team. A healthy Georgia, Ohio St, Penn St, and Oregon will be fine regardless of the outcome.

LSU vs Mississippi may well be the most competitive game.
