Bowling Green at Winless UMass: The Keegan Andrews Story

UMass has done a poor job this year in the winning department. The win repellant was sprayed on a bit too thick, and they find themselves winless on the last day of their season.

Bowling Green are in town for an afternoon matchup to close the regular season. The Falcons only boasting three wins themselves this year will also only be playing for pride. Wins against Lafayette, Liberty, and Toledo. The latter being their latest victory way back on October 11th, so it’s been a while. Not as long as remaining winless the entire season, but 7 weeks is quite the dry spell.

While the Minuteman have struggled in many areas this season, they have excelled in at least one. Punting.

Hey, if you’re going to punt more than any other team in the land, you better have a punter that can get the job done.

Meet Keegan Andrews. Senior Transfer Punter from Texas A&M. 6’3/ 250.

Keegan has punted the ball 65 times this season which leads all punters, Ball St and Colorado Punters have three fewer. On these 65 punts, he has tallied a whopping 3031 punt yards which is 300 and change more than the second on the list, Damon Graeves CU.

Week in and week out, the Australian born punter throws his big leg into the pigskin and gives fans something to cheer for in Amherst.

Let’s see if he can have a big game in his last one in college. 2:30 today on EspnU.
