“We need to focus in on what happened at Ohio St last year when they lost to Michigan. They won four straight and won it all certainly. So that’s what we’re going to focus on.”

Montana finished the season 11-1 on a 31-27 loss to Montana St. In spite of the loss, the Grizzlies earned the Number 3 seed in the FCS Playoff and will play the winner of New Hampshire and South Dakota St.

It’s worth noting that South Dakota St have been responsible for eliminating Montana the past two seasons, including beating them in the 2023 Championship Game.

Michael Wortham and Co will take the field next week and hope to make a run to the finals. To do so will not be easy as a potential rematch with cross-state rivals Montana St could happen in the semi-finals.
