But now, we are getting to the ‘rat killin’ as former USC O-lineman John Wayne would’ve said. Now, we are getting down to the field of twelve playoff teams. The entire purpose of this season is to be one of the chosen twelve at the end. Well, I don’t get much of a say, at least, I don’t think Mack Rhoades is a reader. If he is–Well, thanks for stopping by. I’d love to chat about football sometime.

So, I don’t get a say in how the teams are picked, but that won’t keep me from continuing to try to “predict the unpredictable” before Tuesday Night’s big reveal.

  2. Georgia
  3. Indiana
  4. Texas A&M
  5. Alabama

  12. South Florida

Win the rest of the way and you’ll be in the 12.

Texas will have the toughest upcoming challenge in Athens this week.

The ACC Champ will be in the field of twelve but good luck trying to figure that conference out. Nine teams can still make the conference title game including Wake Forest. Anything can happen. For now, Georgia Tech seems like the safest team to place in the CFP, but like we’ve said all year–who can predict such things?

Two Loss South Florida is the G5 if the season ended today.

Let’s just see how the season plays out.
