Winless and Undefeated Teams: College Football

WINLESS TEAMS:

  • UCLA 0-4
  • Sam Houston St 0-4
  • UMass 0-4
  • Oregon St 0-5

After losing to Northwestern this past Saturday, UCLA might lose them all and that would be wild. Maybe I’ll withdraw my offer of $1/ month plus expenses to help them. The offer still stands for the house that Beamer built, but in order for me to get close to that steaming pile of crap called UCLA football, it’ll take a big fat sweetener.

The Bruins have the players. At least they did to begin the season against Utah. Penn St, Michigan St, and Maryland are their next three. Do you see a win?

Sam Houston plays in Corvallis November 8th. If both teams are still winless, this will be the game of the year. Barstool or Fox should certainly hype that up that one just for fun. Either way, on November 8th at least one team will be off of this list. That team will not be UCLA.

Sam Houston has their next opportunity to win Thursday Night October 9th against New Mexico St. Primetime CBSSN

Twenty undefeated teams: 5 SEC, 4 Big 12, 4 Big 10, 3 AAC, 3 ACC, and 1 Mountain West.

Naturally, this list will continue to dwindle. It’s still my prediction that there will be no one left on this list by the end of the regular season. There’s a chance that I’m refusing to see what is right in front of me and that is–Georgia Tech may just win every game at this point. Maybe Oregon as well. Outside of that I think every other team loses at least one. Most will lose at least two. Who knows?

I do know that the Yellow Jackets are in a great spot and are sleeping easy on a bye week. Their next three games are:

  • vs VA Tech
  • @ Duke
  • vs Syracuse

I see three more wins as long as their King at QB stays healthy.

Who loses first?
