“Some disenchanted conquistador tossed his copy of Summa Theologica into a swamp and the University of Florida bubbled up from the cattails…Burt Reynolds and all.”-
Michael Angeli Journalist, Co-Executive Producer of “Black Sails”
Another scorcher across the lower 48. “Last train we robbed, we were naked it was so hot out.” –Roy O’Bannon.
I’m not robbing trains, but I can relate to the good ole blonde outlaw from “Shanghai Noon.” It’s just plain hot.
Find a pool. It can be public, someone’s backyard, or a shaded forest lagoon, but find a pool and quick. We’ve got another 40-50 days of this in store at a minimum. Keep it level and stay cool.
In the meantime, enjoy a dose of sports to curb the workday boredom–and heat.

By the time the clocks roll backwards one hour for the winter season the Sunday proceeding Week 10, these win totals will have been reached by the previous listed teams. At least, it’s possible. Who knows? It’s July and I’m dreaming about football. Seemingly, “predicting the unpredictable” once again. Just passing the time until Aer Lingus at Aviva in Dublin 5 Saturdays from now. I’m quite sure there will be more posts full of atrocious predictions before then. Folly, Fun.
Be kind to the neighbors. Everyone is hot and bothered just the same.
